The building includes a free, 20-passenger aerial tram to provide access from street level (at Mission Street and Fremont Street) to the rooftop park. The inclusion of the park was part of the winning bid in the architectural design composition for the structure. The rooftop park, designed by PWP Landscape Architecture, includes an amphitheater, a restaurant, and water features. The bus bridge includes a traffic light to facilitate the transition between right-hand traffic (outside the transit center) and left-hand traffic (inside the transit center). In order to allow buses with doors on the right to serve the central (island) platform on the bus deck, buses circulate clockwise (i.e., driving on the left) while inside the terminal. The bus deck has a dedicated highway ramp (consisting, in part, of a cable-stayed bridge) to the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge and an off-site bus storage facility under the western Bay Bridge approach. Or designed precisely for people who don't drive - like 5 year olds or something. It feels like it was designed by people who don't drive. I think this is true of the road layout as well. I think you let the artists get to wild with the visions and not enough thought to functionality. So effectively this terminal has a bottleneck by design, as with all layers open there will be only 4 stops/buses max - and if a bus in front is waiting its time out, any buses behind it will be late. In the real world terminals are laid out precisely to let buses pass each other. TBH I think you need to scratch it and start over because even if you fix the glitch and free up the other layers of the terminal it won't solve the bottleneck problem, buses need to be able to pass each other on leaving. Once we faced major bugs which are impacting your experiences, we will happily upgrade the terminal in future patches and further improve on the game as we value your feedback a lot. So currently, only the top layer of the terminal and its outer stops are usable to keep risks low. Sadly, we had to make the decision to downgrade the terminal temporarily as it could induce major bugs and glitches which would destroy the experience.
